The Hai'an bonded import commodity direct sales center opened on July 18. It is an opening-up platform constructed by Hai'an to introduce high-quality projects and goods of the countries and regions along the routes of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Located in a commerce and trade logistics park, the direct sales center integrates import and export trade, e-commerce, retail, special exhibitions, on-site sampling of experience of imported goods, bulk trade and other services.

The first phase of the center starts with an area of 6,000 square meters and is designed with special areas for the display and sale of products and national pavilions. Wash & care products, food, bags and suitcases, kitchenware and other commodities from nearly 200 overseas brands are available in the center.

The center was jointly constructed by Hai'an and an international trade platform for commodity sales. According to Hu Zhou, the person-in-charge of the center, a sorting area will be established to implement offline and online simultaneous sales. Ambassadors and commercial counselors to China of different countries will be invited to promote specialties through livestreaming.
