The cultural center of Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong, will host an array of activities featuring the city's intangible cultural heritage items in celebration of Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, which falls on June 13.

1. Intangible cultural heritage shopping gala

An ICH shopping gala will be held at the center's main hall from 9 am to 17 pm on June 13.

More than 20 types of intangible cultural heritage items, including snacks, drinks, cosmetics, kites, sachets, redwood carvings, paper cuttings, and dough sculptures, will be on display and for sale.

The center plans to launch a notice for the event on the Jiangsu Public Culture Cloud, an online platform. The first 500 people to make an appointment on the platform and register to attend the event will receive a coupon of 50 yuan ($7.25).

2. Intangible cultural heritage exhibition

An exhibition featuring the city's intangible cultural heritage items, including bonsais, silk carpets, and bamboo carvings, will be held in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the center on June 13.

3. Intangible cultural heritage performances

An array of intangible cultural heritage performances featuring local-style singing and dancing will begin at 9 am in the northern square of the culture center, assuming suitable weather.
