Tangzha town, Gangzha district, Nantong is home to an 800-square-meter book complex near the Nantong No.2 Middle School and Tangzha Park.

The complex consists of eight quaint old houses and is divided into two parts – a front yard and a backyard. Several camphor trees are located in the yard.

It features a bookstore, a tea house, and a DIY experiential room. People can read books, chat with friends, drink tea, and organize activities related to painting, calligraphy, tea-making, floriculture, and more.

The complex has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere to provide people with the best possible environment for reading and relaxing.

It also includes an outdoor glasshouse, a study room, a hydrotherapy room, and a lecture hall.

More than 1,000 people have already joined the book complex's WeChat group, and around 100 reading activities were organized at the complex in 2019.
