The Rudong Postal Administration was launched on Dec 27 in an effort to strengthen the supervision of the postal industry in Rudong county, Nantong.

In recent years, Rudong's postal industry has been playing a more significant role in the county's social production and consumption chains. The industry is showing great promise due to several major strategies recently implemented in the Yangtze River Delta region. 

The county's express industry is currently experiencing rapid development as well. A total of 40 million items were delivered this year, more than twice the number three years ago.

Rudong's new postal administration will focus on providing balanced, ecofriendly, trustworthy, and safe postal services, improving the management of the postal industry, and facilitating the development of express mail services, cross-border e-commerce, and modern logistics

Zhang Shuifang, director of the Jiangsu Provincial Postal Administration, encouraged the Rudong Postal Administration to contribute to local economic development by strengthening the postal industry.
