A traditional Chinese painting exhibition is being held at the Nantong Museum in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.

Ninety paintings by 18 artists from Nantong and Suzhou featuring people, mountains, rivers, flowers, and birds are currently on display.

The event is meant to promote cultural exchange between artists from the two historical cities, as both were home to many famous historical figures.

The two sides have maintained long-term cultural relations and intend to use such events to promote cooperation in painting.
