The 12th Nantong Aerobic Gymnastics Championships were held in Gangzha district on Oct 27, showcasing Nantong's achievements in aerobic gymnastics.

The competition attracted more than 500 participants of 30 teams. Participants came from a variety of age groups and were divided into six groups based on their age.

The competition, held every year since 2008, has become an important sporting event for the city. It now consists of several different types of aerobic gymnastics, including aerobic dances and cheerleading.

The city's association for aerobic gymnastics plans to organize a municipal club league next year to attract more people to the event.

In recent years, around 20,000 people in Nantong have participated in aerobic gymnastics exercises.

Nantong plans to continue promoting physical exercise and working to improve people's health.
