Two companies in Rudong county, Nantong, Jiangsu province were included on the top 500 list honoring companies promoting the industrialization of agriculture, according to a recent report released by the Farmers' Daily.

Goldensun Grain and Oil Co Ltd came 304th, and Hong Xuan Agriculture Group, a leading egg production firm came 421st.

Farmers' Daily measured the annual revenues of agricultural companies from 31 provinces and cities across the country.

A total of 13 companies from Nantong made the list this year.
