A signing ceremony for Hai’an’s green-environment economic industrial park took place in Hai’an’s Binhai new district, Nantong on July 2.

The ceremony was witnessed by Ye Zhonghe, president of the China-Italy Exchange Promotion Association, Liu Xuefeng, chairman of Junfeng Group, and representatives from Hai’an Daily and the Binhai district government.

The park, worth over $100 million, will be invested by the association and its member companies, which will also build and manage it.

According to the government authority, the park, along with a regional processing center for dangerous waste goods, will be of significance in promoting the environmental protection industry and improving the ecological environment of surrounding areas of Hai’an. The government has pledged to optimize services and appoint a responsible person to ensure the project’s smooth progress.

The China-Italy Exchange Promotion Association, founded in 2012, is an organization for overseas Chinese in Milan. It is devoted to advancing communication between China and Italy and serving as an essential bridge between Chinese companies and Italian and European enterprises.
