A signing ceremony for the Anshiteng artificial intelligence center project took place in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area on Aug 31.

The project is backed by a total investment of 100 million yuan ($14.90 million) from Anshiteng Technology (Shenzhen), an AI-native computing service provider. It is set to lease 3,500 square meters of space and center on embodied AI data collection.

The project centers on a robot data-collection and training center and an industrial product exhibition center.

Plans include building realistic work environments and simulated production lines, along with developing a data system that connects to the company's proprietary platform, completing the cycle from data gathering to model training.

The exhibition center is designed to showcase robot products and illustrate the entire value chain, from computing power and data to models and real-world applications. It will also serve as a platform for industry networking and public outreach for Nantong's growing embodied AI sector.
