The vessel Jiayun Cleo arrived at the Lyusi Qibu Port Area's Hutong Container Terminal in Qidong, Nantong, Jiangsu province, from Duqm, Oman, on Sept 29. It was scheduled to sail to Qingdao and Ningbo before returning to the Middle East.

The arrival marked the launch of a shipping route to the Middle East, adding to the port area's existing international routes, including those to Japan, Russia's Far East, and Jakarta, Indonesia.

The new route further expands the port area's international shipping network and strengthens trade links between Nantong and surrounding areas and the Middle East, supporting regional foreign trade.
