In Hai'an, a county-level city of Nantong, a cup of coffee now comes with a taste of local culture.

Since June 24, customers who purchase any drink at BeanStar Coffee, a local coffee brand, have been able to receive complimentary stickers featuring motifs used in Hai'an tie-dye, an intangible cultural heritage (ICH) item.

Featuring simple yet elegant blue-and-white patterns, the stickers fit a variety of takeaway cups, bringing the timeless aesthetics of the traditional craft into everyday life.

In Hai'an, more and more young people are starting their day with a cup of coffee. Inspired by this new lifestyle trend, Anxiaolv Studio, a local creative design team, chose BeanStar Coffee as the platform for presenting ICH in a way that resonates with younger generations.
