Low-clamping-voltage chips developed by Jiangsu Semicon Champion Microelectronics Co, a national-level specialized and sophisticated enterprise in Hai'an, were honored with the 2026 Chinese Innovative Chip Award at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.

The award-winning low-clamping-voltage chips are one of Semicon Champion's flagship products, designed for the automotive and energy storage sectors. The chips focus on the battery side of the battery management system, protecting the analog front-end chips. They outperform competing products when it comes to resisting reverse high voltage from the ground side.

Founded in 2017, Semicon Champion has been committed to the power semiconductor protection market. The company has built a complete chain covering chip design, self manufacturing, packaging, testing, and delivery. Electric vehicles, energy storage, AI servers, industrial control, medical equipment, and communications are common application fields for its products.

Every year, the company invests over 10 million yuan ($1.47 million) in research and development and iterative upgrades to core process equipment to accelerate the expansion of production capacity and the construction of smart factory.

In the future, Semicon Champion will continue to increase investment in R&D and production capacity upgrades, strengthen industry-university-research collaboration, double down on high-end areas such as new energy vehicles, energy storage, and data centers, and deepen strategic partnerships with automakers and automotive component suppliers from home and abroad.
