The Yuantuojiao section of the bay in Qidong and Xiaoyangkou section in Rudong were recently included among the first batch of Jiangsu provincial beautiful bay demonstration projects, according to the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment.

Yuantuojiao is located in the easternmost part of Jiangsu province, where the Yangtze River, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea meet. It is the first area in Jiangsu to experience the sunrise.

In recent years, Yuantuojiao Resort has been striving to connect its viewing avenue with scenic spots such as Fisherman's Wharf, Tulip Flower Sea, Evergrande Biha Yinsha Scenic Area and Golden Beach Scenic Area to further enhance the tourist experience.

Recreational events such as beach volleyball, kite-surfing and triathlons, have promoted tourist attractions in Yuantuojiao.

Yuantaojiao Resort has received more than 3 million visitors so far this year.
