Yuantuojiao rural tourism industry thrives

Over the past three years, Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province received about 3 million tourists annually, and the annual total income from rural tourism exceeded 9 million yuan ($1.24 million).
Yuantuojiao Resort is a popular scenic spot where visitors can enjoy the sunrise at the Golden Beach Scenic Area, watch the double-color sea at the Bihai Yinsha Scenic Area, and have fun at Fisherman's Wharf.
Three years ago, Wang Jingfang, a resident of Yuantuojiao village, transformed the old house near the scenic spot into a homestay. The scenic spot's excellent natural landscapes have attracted many guests.
In Yuantuojiao village, there are more than 300 people involved in rural tourism like Wang Jingfang.
In the future, Yuantuojiao will further amplify its resource advantages and focus on improving the quality of its coastline, creating a unique tourist resort with charming landscapes.
