The summer season is already nearing its end, so if you have not had the chance to check out some of the beautiful beaches in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, there's still time to get a golden tan and enjoy the balmy weather before temperatures dip.

Golden Beach

The Golden Beach resort is located in Yinyang town, Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong. 

Located at the estuary of the Yangtze River and at the easternmost tip of Jiangsu, Yinyang town has the earliest sunrise in the province.

This area boasts idyllic coastal scenes that feature rows of windmills with the shimmering blue water as a backdrop. Besides taking a stroll in the wetland park, visitors can also go swimming, pick shells from the sand, drive all-terrain vehicles and ride ox carts.

Evergrande Venice Resort

Also located in Yinyang town, Evergrande Venice Resort comprises a five-star hotel, various recreation facilities and a number of residential areas.

The man-made beach here stretches 3.5 kilometers and is covered with white sand from South China's Hainan province. The clear blue seawater, which is seldom seen in Nantong, is filtered and formed by damming.

The hotel has more than 1,200 guest rooms with balconies overlooking the sea. Exotic hot springs are also available here.
