A camera crew of Discover the Beauty of China, a program created by China Central Television (CCTV), visited the Golden Beach scenic area in Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong on Aug 13, to shoot a promotional video.

Located at the estuary of the Yangtze River, Golden Beach scenic area is the first place in East China where people can greet the sunrise.

Discover the Beauty of China is a program created by CCTV concerning humanity, geography, tourism, sightseeing and city images. It showcases the beauty of China's society, nature, ecology and landscapes through dissemination of city images, natural heritages, tourist attractions and cultural resources.

In addition to the sunrise, the crew also shot fragments about wave treading and picking up clams, giving viewers a close look at the sea culture of the Golden Beach scenic area.
