The Yangtze River Delta Natural Gas Innovative and Collaborative Development Forum was held in Rudong, Nantong on Aug 16, bringing together representatives from government agencies, energy companies, and industry experts.
The forum focused on emerging trends, new services, and innovative business models in the natural gas sector, aiming to chart new paths for the industry's growth.
With over 130,000 natural gas companies nationwide, the importance of natural gas as clean energy is becoming increasingly evident. The event sought to strengthen industry collaboration, helping stakeholders seize new opportunities and tackle challenges in the evolving global energy landscape.
Experts from energy companies and consulting firms discussed a range of topics, including industry policies, trends in the international LNG market, and strategies for managing the challenges posed by natural gas price fluctuations.
During the event, a special investment promotion was held for the Yangkou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone. Yangkou Port, one of China's leading ports in LNG terminal construction, is set to become the country's largest LNG hub, with a future capacity of 20 to 30 million metric tons per year for LNG unloading, storage, gasification, warehousing, and transshipment.
