The primary construction of the Yellow Sea Second Bridge in Yangkou Port is nearing completion, with asphalt paving set to commence after the New Year holiday.

Spanning a total length of 10.035 kilometers, the second bridge runs parallel to east of the Yellow Sea First Bridge, with a 30-meter gap between them. Additionally, cable channels have been installed on both sides of the second bridge to serve power transmission to Yangguang Island at Yangkou Port.

With cables stretching 16 kilometers along the bridge, flexible supports will be utilized to minimize damage to the cables during bridge vibrations, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operation.

Both the bridge and cable projects are scheduled for completion in June this year. Upon completion, the overall transportation capacity of the Yellow Sea Bridge will double, effectively guaranteeing the transportation of liquefied natural gas to four receiving stations on Yangguang Island and the transportation of raw materials for major projects within the port area.
