Yangkou port has experienced rapid development in recent years. In the first nine months of 2023,the port’s volume of foreign trade climbed to 23.45 billion yuan ($3.22 billion), accounting for 56.37% of the county’s total, with its service sector’s tax contribution making up 46.87% to the county's total in the same period.
