The second phase of the dike top road project in the Yangkou Port harbor industrial area – located in Rudong county, administered by Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – is expected to be completed by the end of the month, local media reported.

With a total length of 7.8 kilometers and a total investment of 28 million yuan ($4.4 million), the road is seen as being an important transport channel connecting the Yangkou Port harbor industrial area and the Yangguang Island distribution center.

It will also serve as the main road for local fishermen to go to the sea.
