The Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone – located in Rudong county, administered by Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – on Feb 28 signed its approval for the construction of a beauty and life industrial park.

With a total investment of 5 billion yuan ($792.14 million), the park has a planned area of 20 hectares.

It will include production plants for cosmetics raw materials and products, as well as for cosmetics packaging, among other things.
