Rudong Offshore Wind Power Co Ltd under the China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN)  invested 2.8 billion yuan ($423 million) in this project, which is located in the offshore sea area outside the east coast of Rudong county, Nantong, Jiangsu province. It will have an installed capacity of 150 megawatts.

The onshore centralized control center and booster station, with an investment of 60 million yuan, covers 4.25 hectares and also serves as the office and living base for operation and management personnel.

At present, the first phase of the project has been put into operation.
