NETDA hosts 'AI+Pharma' exchange with overseas experts

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) convened an international exchange forum focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence and pharmaceutical innovation on July 15.

The event highlighted the rapid evolution of data and algorithms in drug R&D, underscoring how AI-driven medical advancements have entered a digital-intelligent era. The "AI+Pharma" sector now represents new frontiers in technological competition, emerging industries, and economic growth engines.

Nine scientists, founders, and fund investors specializing in "AI+Pharma" from Switzerland and Germany were invited to collaborate with local enterprises such as Lianya Pharmaceutical and Zhongtian Technology Group.

Through in-depth dialogue with Europe's core life sciences ecosystem, the forum facilitated joint exploration of cutting-edge technologies and development trends in Sino-European biomedicine. These discussions aim to deepen collaboration, promote the application of scientific research results, and advance the development of the area's healthcare sector.
