Construction accelerates on NHIZ's major projects
Since the beginning of this year, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) has been prioritizing project construction and investment attraction.
At the construction site of the Leer environmental protection equipment project, three factory buildings have already been topped out, with the final steel-structured building in the final stages and expected to be capped by the end of July.
The project is being developed by Jiangsu Leer Environmental Technology Co at a cost of 1.5 billion yuan ($209 million). It focuses on establishing large-scale production lines for fly ash recycling equipment and comprehensive demonstration lines for fly ash resource utilization technology. Upon full operation, it will be able to process up to 60,000 metric tons of fly ash.
Additionally, the Aienle aluminum foil new materials project is projected to commence trial production in late July. Developed by Aienle New Material Technology (Nantong) Co, this 400-million-yuan project will produce 26,000 tons of electro-aluminum foil materials annually upon reaching full capacity, with expected annual sales of one billion yuan.
