Nantong's home textile industry undergos digital transformation
One in every three bedding products worldwide originates in Nantong. Now, this "Home Textile Capital of China" is quietly undergoing a digital transformation.
The Fangzhiyun AI platform, developed by Jiangsu Fangzhiyun Technology Co in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ), is an AI-driven home textile platform built on large language model capabilities.
In February 2025, the company deployed the DeepSeek large language model based on Huawei's Ascend AI ecosystem, achieving localized implementation and application in Nantong. By entering prompts, the platform can present text descriptions of theme elements, color schemes, and pattern styles within seconds.
As the first company to adapt the DeepSeek model to Nantong's specialized home textile industry, Fangzhiyun has accelerated the adoption of domestically developed AI software and hardware systems in the sector, driving digital transformation and industrial upgrading.
