Ihara Science opens new facility in Nantong
The grand opening ceremony of Jiangsu Ihara Precision Technology Co Ltd was held at the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone on Nov 29.
Established in April 2024, Jiangsu Ihara Precision Technology is the third factory set up in China by Japan's Ihara Science Corporation. The company, which has a registered capital of $5 million, is based in the high-tech zone's Semiconductor and Optoelectronics Industrial Park.
It specializes in manufacturing high-precision valves and connector components made from alloy materials. These products are widely used in industries such as semiconductor equipment, machinery, analytical instruments, food and chemical processing, and new energy.
Once fully operational, the facility is expected to generate annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan ($13.75 million).
During the opening ceremony, the group president expressed gratitude for the strong support provided by NHIZ. He highlighted the collaborative efforts between Ihara Precision Technology and local enterprises, emphasizing their shared commitment to delivering superior products and services. He also noted that the collaboration will help the company achieve a competitive edge in the market.
