NHIZ offers nurturing environment for listed companies
Among the vanguards of progress stands the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ), a hub of innovation and opportunity that has attracted over 50 listed companies to invest and establish a presence within the region.
Among these enterprises are industry leaders such as domestic main board listed companies Yongjin Technology Group and Hong Bang Industrial Company, international entities like Belgium-based beer brewing and distribution giant Anheuser-Busch InBev and Irish-American automotive technology supplier Aptiv, as well as New Third Board listed companies such as Revzone and Circuit Electronics.
One standout case within the zone is Guangdong Hongtu (Nantong) Die-casting Co, a subsidiary of the publicly listed company Guangdong Hongtu Technology (holdings) Co. Since setting up operations in NHIZ in 2011, the company has experienced a meteoric rise, with its Nantong branch consistently achieving remarkable performance milestones.
"Within the NHIZ, there is a dedicated business service office available to assist companies with any challenges," introduced by Jiang Feifei, director of the administration department at Hongtu's Nantong branch, underscoring the invaluable support provided by the zone.
To stimulate more companies to go public, NHIZ focuses on supporting key enterprises in their initial public offering (IPO) journeys by implementing a range of policies to boost growth, increase revenue, and alleviate operational challenges. NHIZ actively listens to and addresses the obstacles faced by these enterprises, providing crucial government intervention when needed.
So far, the region has offered tailored services to over 200 key enterprises and projects, assisting in project applications and providing essential guidance. In the first half of this year, NHIZ has facilitated 23 manufacturing companies applying for value-added tax (VAT) benefits, enhancing cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
