​Tongzhou explores economic, trade opportunities in Denmark and Hungary

A delegation from Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, embarked on an economic and trade exchange mission to Denmark and Hungary from Aug 19 to 26.

The exchange aimed to showcase the burgeoning business environment in the city's Tongzhou district and attract foreign investment to the region.

During the eight-day visit, the delegation toured multiple cities across two countries, focusing on industries such as automotive components, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, and maritime engineering. They engaged with prominent enterprises and organizations, including Hempel, Danish Maritime, and the Chinese Embassy in Hungary.

In Hungary, the delegation organized an investment promotion conference in Budapest, which was attended by local government officials, business leaders, and academic representatives.

During the conference, Zhang Jianhua, a member of the Nantong municipal standing committee, highlighted Tongzhou's investment-friendly environment, industrial layout, and strong growth prospects. He expressed Tongzhou's commitment to international cooperation and invited enterprises interested in investing to visit and establish a presence in Tongzhou.

The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Innovation Base in Budapest, gaining insights into innovation and technology.

Throughout the visit, foreign businesses expressed strong confidence in Tongzhou's investment environment, industrial strength, and development opportunities. They expressed a desire to step up communication, deepen cooperation, and foster mutually beneficial growth with the district.
