A livestreaming recruitment event themed "Jianghai Talent Campaign" was held at Tongzhou district's human resources market in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 1.
Human resources managers from five Tongzhou-based firms advertised positions in terms of salary, development prospects, working environment, and requirements during the livestreaming. They also put forward a series of incentives such as trainings, free accommodation, and interest-free loans.
The event was pushed to 170,000 fresh and previous graduates from nearly 30 universities and colleges in China, such as Tianjin University, Soochow University and Jiangsu University.
"The participating companies are strong and large and scale. It is the first time that I have sought a job through livestreaming, saving me a lot of time," said Mr. Xu, who graduated in 2021.
The 90-minute livestreaming provided over 270 jobs and received some 160,000 views.
As an emerging form, livestreaming recruitment has developed rapidly in recent years, and has become a new channel for companies' online recruitment. In order to better serve resident companies and introduce more urgently needed top-flight personnel, the Tongzhou district human resources and social security department worked with the Jiangsu provincial college enrollment and employment guidance service center to launch the livestreaming event.
