After nearly one year of preparation and construction, the Tongzhou district human resources market started operating on Jan 8, according to officials in Tongzhou district, in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Located in the Jianghai Smart Park in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, the new market is a people-oriented project that was funded and established by the district government.

It is designed to ease structural employment conditions and provide human resources and a demand platform for employers and job seekers in the district.

Its opening marks a new stage for human resources development and public services in the area.

The completed human resources market will take charge of organizing, conducting and operating online and offline job fairs.

It will be involved in the collection, sorting and release of business employment information, data, statistics and analysis of human resources supply and demand in the district.
