Nantong's advanced chip technology shines at national competition
Jiangsu Huacun Electronic Technology Co Ltd from Nantong won the second prize in the entrepreneurial group at the fourth China Chuangyi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition that concluded in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province on Nov 12.
The company is located in Jianghai Smart Park in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and is the first high-end memory control chip design company in Jiangsu province. It's mainly engaged in the design and development of integrated circuit chips.
Jiangsu Huacun's high-end storage control chip project was the only Jiangsu project that made it all the way through the intense national competition.
With high-performance and a high level of integration the project is mainly for Computing Storage SSD, the next generation of storage architecture for cloud data center servers. Its main control chip is HC9001, which is suitable for large-capacity and high-speed information transmission applications.
"The research results are at the international leading level in this field. Our interface speed has doubled compared with the fourth generation, and has increased four times compared with the mainstream third-generation products on the market. The read and write speeds and the performance of error correction for flash memory is also far ahead of that of our rivals," said Song Yuancen, deputy general manager of the company.
According to Song, a national secret algorithm and an AI function have also been added, which can provide efficient security protection for different data in different usage scenarios.
Seven companies from Tongzhou district signed up for the competition this year. Their projects spanned from cross-border e-commerce applications to digital multi-dimensional machine tools.
