Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone seeks cross-river collaboration with Suzhou enterprises
Nantong science and technology new city (“New City”), the center of the innovation industries and activities within the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, hosted a meeting in Suzhou to promote Suzhou-Nantong collaboration on June 12th.

The meeting host was Pu Weiwei, assistant manager of Shanghai Lingang Tongce Development Co Ltd.
Along with its geographical advantages, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone boasts industrial strength and a clear development plan, and three new industrial parks featuring IT innovation, integrated circuit (IC) parts manufacturing, and IC design are on its upcoming agenda. A series of supporting policies has been formulated to facilitate the growth of the IC industry within the zone. In a speech Jiang Xiaoguo, director of the New City Administration Committee, hoped that the enterprises in Suzhou, an intelligentized city of talent and funding, will learn more about the zone and further explore its business possibilities.
The attendees watched a video clip of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the IC industry within it. Then a few speakers on behalf of New City detailed the benign investment environment for their potential partners.
Both Xu Wei, general secretary of the Suzhou new energy vehicle industry chamber of commerce, and Guo Zhenxiang, vice president of Taiwan Compatriot Investment Enterprises Association of Kunshan, expressed their hope for the zone’s smooth development and their further cooperation with it. New City and Wang Zaichun, the Chinese representative of SBT Japan, established a partnership during a signing ceremony for a joint project.
