Three projects based in Nantong High-tech Industrial Development Zone win Jiangsu science and technology awards
Three projects of the Nantong High-tech Industrial Development Zone were honored with Jiangsu provincial science and technology awards on June 10th, including a first-prize and two third-prizes.
Among the 273 awardees, 45 won the first prize, 81 the second, and 147 the third. Nantong had four first-prize, nine second-prize and 19 third-prize winners.
First prize in the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award was given to Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co Ltd, which had partnered with Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Changzhou University in a project on "structural design, preparation and application of nano-hybrid materials for efficient use of energy". This technology enables controlled synthesis of more than 70 kinds of materials.
One of the third prize winners based in the zone is Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co Ltd, which worked closely with Shanghai Highly (Group) Co Ltd and Hainan University in developing industry-leading key technology and complete equipment for flexible automatic assembly of medium and high voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
Hongbang Die Casting (Nantong) Co Ltd, also a zone-based third prize winner, partnered with Southeast University and South China University of Technology in the project of "key technology and application of precision die-casting of high quality complex aluminum alloy parts". The technology is widely used in the company's production processes.
