This year, the Gangzha Economic Development Zone has put an emphasis on advancing the intelligent reconstruction and digital transformation of local enterprises to boost the industrial development of the zone.
For example, the zone's Jiangsu Masada Heavy Industries Co Ltd has introduced an automatic system for store management and a production management system from Japan to improve management and production efficiency.
In addition, Masada has established an overseas research and development department to strengthen technological innovation.
The enterprise has received 900 million yuan ($125.65 million) in orders this year, an increase of 12 percent year on year.
The enterprise has created a self-owned brand and obtained more than 40 patents. It has also been named a national high-tech enterprise and provincial technological center.
The enterprise's innovative development is the result of support from the zone's authorities.
The zone's authorities have spent more than 30 million yuan in advancing the intelligent reconstruction and digital transformation of local enterprises.
The first phase of an industrial park for intelligent equipment, which spans 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares), is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
In addition, the zone has formed an industrial cluster of intelligent equipment to help attract more enterprises in this respect.
