Nantong CIMC Energy Equipment Co Ltd – based in the Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently delivered a consignment of 20-foot-long T75 cryogenic tanks to a Japanese client, in an order seen as being a key step towards to entering that country's lucrative market.
The cryogenic container is designed to provide a flexible and user-friendly means of transporting liquefied carbon dioxide cost-effectively.
The tanks manufactured by Nantong CIMC Energy Equipment, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric Holdings Limited, comply with the Japanese Industrial Standards and the international standards of American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
They are also the first products from a foreign enterprise to be passed by the High Pressure Gas Safety Institute of Japan, a certification process that is widely regarded in the industry as being complex and exacting.
The Japanese buyer will reportedly use them to transport food-grade liquid carbon dioxide, required for the manufacture of carbonated beverages.
