The China National Intellectual Property Administration, or CNIPA, has recently announced the winners of the 22nd WIPO-CNIPA Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design.

Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province has two projects winning the silver prize of the award and 10 excellence prize winners.

The hard open top container and spreader of top cover project developed by Nantong CIMC Tank Equipment Co Ltd – based in Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone – is one of the two silver prize winners.

Nantong CIMC Tank Equipment Co Ltd, established in 2002, is the wholly-owned subsidiary of CIMC Enric Holdings Limited. CIMC Tank owns 150,000 square meters of workshops. With flexible state-of-the-art production lines and advanced facilities and jigs, CIMC TANK can build and deliver standard, specialized and customized tank containers, either in beams or collar frames.

The WIPO-CNIPA Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design is the highest award in the field of intellectual property, jointly set up by the CNIPA and the World Intellectual Property Organization, with international influence.
