In a bid to improve the safety awareness and skill level of personnel in production and business units and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of accidents in limited space operations, the safe production office of Gangzha Economic Development Zone carried out training on safety management for limited space operations on Sept 25.

A total of 130 people including safety management personnel from construction, industrial enterprises, property management companies and other units involved in limited space operations as well as site leaders, supervisors, operators, and emergency rescue personnel engaged in limited space operations participated in the training, which focused on safety theory.

Through experts' teaching, practical operations, examinations and other methods, the persons in charge, safety management personnel and confined space operators of the production and business units mastered the procedures of limited space operations, further enhanced their awareness of their safety responsibilities and enhanced their ability to prevent and control risks by eliminating hidden dangers in production.
