The Wulonghui Weekend Night Fair made its debut with gusto at the Red Star Macalline Plaza on Shennan Road - in the Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu Province - on Aug 16, according to local media.

It was jointly staged by the management committee of the Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone and the Yongxing subdistrict office in Chongchuan district in Nantong city and will last for nine days.

Officials said it will feature activities such as a food festival and a folklore and cultural festival – events that are designed to help alleviate the effects of the novel coronavirus and boost the market.

They said that every commercial complex in Wulonghui had invested funds to help improve sales and contribute the regional economic development.
