Infrastructure
Gangzha Economic Development Zone has completed infrastructure for power, water and heating supplies, sewage disposal, natural gas and communications to provide excellent services for firms.
Power supply: An important energy base of East China Grid Corporation is located in the zone. The zone has three power plants - Jiangsu Nantong Power Plant, Huaneng Power Plant and Tianshenggang Power Plant. Electric power in the zone is abundant, with all-weather uninterrupted power supply and no power restrictions, fully meeting firms' requirements.
Water supply: Nantong is one of the cities with the most abundant and highest-quality water in China. There are two waterworks providing supplies to enterprises. Enterprises that need large amounts of water may draw water directly from the Yangtze River. Nantong's current water supply capacity is 1.65 million cubic meters per day.
Sewage disposal: Gangzha Economic Development Zone separates rain and pollution. There are sewage pipes around the zone, and production and domestic waste water is discharged into the municipal sewage main pipe according to regulations. The development zone currently treats 150,000 tons of sewage every day.
Heat supply: The temperature of the steam to the enterprises' outlet point is 220 C.
Natural gas supply: Nantong is a liquefied petroleum gas import aggregation in the Yangtze River Delta. Natural gas pipelines have been laid to Gangzha Economic Development Zone and can be delivered to customers' doors according to their needs. The supply capacity is 120,000 cubic meters per day.
