New IC project to operate in Chongchuan
Taiwan-based Shengwei Technology Co Ltd has signed an agreement to establish a semiconductor integrated circuit packaging material project in the Shibei High-tech Zone in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province.
The project primarily focuses on the production and sale of IC packaging materials. It is expected to enhance the strength, complementarity, and extension of the IC industry in Chongchuan, optimizing and supplementing the local industrial cluster.
During the signing ceremony, Cai Xinghua, general manager of Shengwei Technology, expressed confidence in the development prospects in Chongchuan, citing the solid industrial foundation and comprehensive industrial layout of the integrated circuit testing and packaging field.
He add that the group is optimistic about seizing development opportunities, actively exploring markets, and contributing to the high-quality development of the integrated circuit industry in Chongchuan.
In recent years, Chongchuan has nurtured its integrated circuit industry as a key emerging sector. The Shibei High-tech Zone, at the forefront of the development of the IC industry in the city and district, has actively fostered leading companies in the industrial chain. Significant progress has been made in chip design, manufacturing, and packaging testing, resulting in a scale effect in the integrated circuit industry.
