Chongchuan strives to boost digital culture industry
Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province is currently focusing on enhancing its digital culture industry.
The district's efforts are concentrated on five major sectors, which include livestreaming and e-commerce, electronic sports, anime games, and digital equipment and media.
Established in 2015, Nantong Qinse Network Technology Co Ltd is one of the enterprises specializing in the digital culture industry.
The company commenced operation in Chongchuan last year and benefited from the district's efforts in employee recruitment.
Last year, the revenue of the company reached 15 million yuan ($2.07 million).
Chongchuan is also gradually developing a digital cultural industry cluster with Tian'an Digital City as the core and multiple industrial parks as supporting components.
In 2023, the region's cultural enterprises above designated size achieved a revenue of 57.2 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 18.4 percent. There was a net increase of 50 large-scale cultural enterprises, including 40 digital cultural enterprises.
During the first quarter of this year, the district witnessed the establishment of six digital culture enterprises, with a turnover growth rate in this sector reaching 67.34 percent.
