New quality productive forces | Chongchuan hosts industry conference on new-generation information technology
The Chongchuan New-Generation Information Technology Industry Development Conference took place on March 30.
Experts and scholars from research institutes, industry associations, alliances across the country, as well as representatives from well-known industry enterprises gathered to discuss the high-quality and chain-like development of the next-generation information technology industry.
As the main urban area of Nantong, Jiangsu province, Chongchuan district is currently accelerating the development of six strategic emerging industrial clusters, including next-generation information technology, high-end equipment, and new materials.
Since the beginning of this year, the Chongchuan federation of industry and commerce has led various industry chain departments to launch a series of activities, helping leading enterprises drive and gather upstream, midstream, and downstream companies. This event is one of the series of activities.
During the event, an industry talent salon was held. Professor Fan Yibo from the School of Microelectronics at Fudan University and Dean Zhang Lifa from the School of Physics and Technology at Nanjing Normal University shared insights on chip IP core industry ecology and development needs.
In addition, entrepreneurs from integrated circuit design, manufacturing, packaging, application, and national-level platforms from across the country shared forward-looking strategic ideas on how to promote economic exchanges and upgrade industrial innovation.
At the event, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications released a customized list of industry-university-research cooperation services for Chongchuan's chain enterprises. Eight units, including Nantong University, Nantong Institute of Technology, and Tongfu Microelectronics, signed cooperation agreements for chain enterprise projects.
In addition, Nantong, Nanjing, and Wuxi have joined forces in the integrated circuit industry, collectively establishing the Jiangsu Integrated Circuit Industry University-Research Cooperation Alliance at the event.
