Chongchuan promotes investment environment in Shanghai
An event promoting the investment environment of Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province took place in Shanghai on March 23.
During the event, agreements for 36 projects were signed, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan ($1.66 billion).
In addition to the project signings, Chongchuan also forged more collaborations with Shanghai during the event.
For example, the district government signed a cooperation agreement with the business service committee of the Shanghai Service Federation; the management committee of Nantong Shibei High-Tech Zone entered signed an agreement aimed at deepening project cooperation with Shanghai Shibei High-Tech (Nantong) Co Ltd; and the management committee of Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone signed a cooperation agreement with Shanda World (Shanghai) Economic Development Co Ltd.
Jiang Lei, vice-president of Shanda World, said that the company will strengthen the connection between the two regions and attract more companies specializing in artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, and technology services to the areas in Chongchuan.
