A sea of roses is now in full bloom at the Luoxier Rose Garden in Pingyuanchi village, Chengbei sub-district of Rugao, attracting residents and tourists eager to enjoy the vibrant countryside scenery.

Covering more than 40 mu (about 2.7 hectares), the garden features roses in a wide range of colors, including red, pink, white and yellow. Different varieties are arranged throughout the park, creating a rich and picturesque landscape. As fragrant floral scents drift through the air, visitors stroll among the blossoms, snap pics and immerse themselves in the romantic atmosphere.

According to Zhang Yutang, head of the Luoxier Rose Garden, the garden enters its main blooming season from mid-to-late April through the end of June, while another peak flowering season arrives in October. The twice-yearly blooming cycle helps extend the consumption season for rural flower-viewing tourism.

Zhang said the garden adopts a compact and refined landscaping model, focusing on continuous flower walls and themed floral displays. The immersive design and concentrated visual effect cater to the growing demand for leisure experiences and immersive countryside travel among urban visitors.

The garden also plans to further improve its landscape facilities and visitor services to enhance the overall travel experience. At the same time, it will continue developing a rose-themed industrial chain by exploring cultural and creative products and other rose-related merchandise.

Leveraging the popularity of the flower fields, the project is also expected to boost sales of local agricultural specialties from Pingyuanchi village.
