Five AI innovation projects signed to settle in the Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone on April 15, spanning fields such as ultra-high-speed optical modules, AI inspection and testing, and embodied intelligent robots. 

These projects include investments from well-known companies in the AI field as well as projects led by top experts.

For example, the ultra-high-speed optical module core component research, development and production project led by Tianji Liangxin primarily focuses on the high-end optical chips, which serve as the core components for AI computing power. 

The AI road inspection project, led by Zhang Aonan, a doctoral advisor from Southwest Jiaotong University, holds 21 invention patents. The related technology has been applied in several provinces, with a total road inspection mileage exceeding 200,000 kilometers.
