Ukrainian entrepreneur finds home in Hai'an, Nantong
Moiseyenko Serhiy, an entrepreneur from Ukraine, shared on his social media a moment when his daughter was going through border control, the officers had no idea where Hai'an was.
Living in this county-level city of Nantong, where he found both a sense of belonging in his career and happiness in his life, Serhiy hopes more people will get to know it.

Eight years ago, Serhiy chose Hai'an as the location for his new production facility and founded Nantong Hunt Off-Road Co.
Serhiy cited sincere government support as a key reason. On his investment intention, local officials acted swiftly, recommending land and providing full assistance, from paperwork handling to policy interpretation.
He also appreciated the complete industrial supporting system. Hai'an is home to auto parts clusters with upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, saving him the trouble of hunting for suppliers.
Convenient transportation was another factor. The well-connected network of highways, railways and waterways allows goods to be shipped by truck, train or ship to any destination without delay.
The last reason was the reliable local workers. Of about 160 employees in Serhiy's company, 90 percent are locals, and almost all of the original 50 hires from eight years ago are still with him.

Beyond work, Serhiy has fit well with life in Hai'an.
He taught himself Chinese and now speaks fluently. Deeply in love with Chinese culture, he enjoys practicing brush calligraphy in his spare time. On weekends, he loves cycling outside with his family.
What brings him even more peace of mind is the growth of his youngest child. Over the past three years at a local kindergarten, his child has made good friends and received attentive care from teachers.
"I hope this warm and sincere county-level city can be known by more people, and that more entrepreneurs like me can come here, take root and realize their dreams," said Serhiy.
