The drum dance performance team of Nantong Institute of Technology delivered a vibrant showcase on Nov 26, featuring four Russian students. Keeping pace with the lively rhythm, they performed the signature movements of the Hai'an Drum Dance.

The students began their journey by studying the history of the drum dance and exploring its artistic features. Through steady practice and a focus on basic techniques, they gradually mastered the essentials of this traditional art form.

According to Zhao Chunfang, deputy director of the university's Art Education Center, the experience not only deepened the students' understanding of Chinese cultural traditions but also opened new avenues for sharing traditional culture with international audiences.
