The first event of the Nantong Park Life Season, the Cherry Blossom Market, is bustling on the north side of the Tonglyu Canal Green Corridor in Chongchuan district on March 21. This event will run until March 29, offering residents a new way to enjoy spring leisure.
The green corridor stretches for hundreds of meters, featuring over 70 unique stalls offering creative handmade goods and a variety of regional delicacies. Special items like cilantro beef-flavored bread are particularly popular among visitors, creating an immersive gastronomic feast.
At the market, there is a dedicated horticulture education area where a professional team of horticulture experts and bonsai instructors offer free consultations on flower cultivation and bonsai styling.
Additionally, public activities like "Exchange Waste for Green" and "Knowledge for Green" are being held, where residents can exchange old batteries or complete a tree conservation questionnaire to receive a free plant.
