Chongchuan's Spring Festival sales hit $63.34 m in 9 days
During the nine-day Spring Festival holiday from Feb 15 to 23, 25 key commercial enterprises monitored in Chongchuan district achieved sales of 435 million yuan ($63.34 million), up 10.2 percent from last year.
The cumulative customer footfall reached 3.03 million, an 11.3 percent rise compared to last year. Among them, MixC, Wenfeng World, and CBD Dayoujing secured the top three spots in retail sales among shopping malls, thanks to their distinctive festive activities and customer-friendly initiatives, highlighting the strong appeal of these commercial hubs.
Nantong MixC blended trendy elements with traditional festive charm, attracting a large number of young visitors. Wenfeng World sparked shopping enthusiasm among residents through attractive discounts, while CBD Dayoujing transformed into a Tang Dynasty (618–907) Garden Fair, featuring traditional folk games such as archery, chuiwan (also known as "Chinese golf"), and touhu (pitch-pot).
