The 2026 Nantong Spring Festival Folk Parade kicked off in the South Street Commercial District on Feb 21. Around 1,000 performers marched along the main street, attracting tens of thousands of residents and tourists. 

During the parade, several distinctive formations from Chongchuan district made a stunning appearance. The opera-themed formation integrated Peking Opera and Yueju Opera, demonstrating the vitality of Chongchuan's opera culture.

The ethnic unity-themed formation, which combined ethnic costumes and dances in a creative format, became a beautiful highlight of the parade. It also acknowledged Chongchuan's status as a national demonstration zone for ethnic unity and progress.

In addition, cultural and tourism-themed formations such as Haohe River Nightscape, Nantong Forest Safari Park, and Wonderful Farm each exhibited their unique characteristics, bringing performances, adorable characters, and Journey to the West-themed elements to the parade stage, painting a vivid picture of the integration of culture and tourism.
